Will my procedure hurt?

Patient comfort is a top priority at Thomas Family Dentistry. Our dentists have extensive experience and are very gentle. Our entire team is committed to giving you the best dental experience possible so that you will find our office very welcoming.

Drs. Gealon and Ben Thomas use only the best local dental anesthetics to ensure that you are completely numb and are comfortable during your procedure. We also use advanced technology, such as a dental laser and electric nickel titanium tools for root canals, which provide a better, more comfortable experience for our patients.

Patients who need a little more help feeling at ease during their visits can ask for nitrous oxide. Also called laughing gas, nitrous oxide helps patients feel relaxed during dental procedures and even produces feelings of euphoria or dreaminess. Nitrous can be used during most procedures and is safe for adults and children. It wears off quickly, so you can get back to your day immediately following your visit.

As we strive to exceed your expectations at Thomas Family Dentistry, we would love to know if there’s anything else we can do to improve your visits to our office. Please feel free to contact us with your ideas on this, and to schedule your next dental appointment.

COVID Office Visit Changes:

All of us here at Thomas Family Dentistry are excited to finally get back to work. In order to comply with the ADA, TDA, CDC, and
OSHA guidelines, we have had to make a few changes to how each patient must enter the office.

When you arrive at the office, we ask that you remain in your car. To let us know that you have arrived for your appointment, call our office phone number at (865) 573-0274. We will let you know when you may enter the office. We ask that you please be patient as we go through this process.

Please remember, every person is requested to wear a mask prior to entering the office.

Continue to practice social distancing. As of now, we are not seeing walk-ins. Please call the office and we will be happy to schedule you an appointment. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We have missed you all!
